The reason WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque missed this week’s episode of Raw featuring CM Punk’s return has been revealed.
This week’s show featured the Raw returns for both CM Punk and Randy Orton, but one very important name was missing from the show.
It was reported following the show that Triple H was not present at the show due to being on ‘other WWE business’, with the show being headed up by Bruce Pritchard instead.
In an update from PWInsider, the reason for Triple H’s absence from this week’s Raw has been revealed.
Several sources in the entertainment and broadcast realms told PWInsider that both Triple H and Nick Khan were in Los Angeles over the past few days.
The pair have been working on securing the media rights deal for Monday Night Raw going forward.
There were said to have been several suitors at the juncture.
WWE recently announced new broadcasting deals for SmackDown and NXT, with the shows set to air on USA Network and The CW respectively.
