Former WWE star Aliyah has announced her first post-WWE appearance, with the released star set to be the special guest as a unique event.
Aliyah, real name Nhooph Al-Areebi, has been announced for the Remix Rumble Wrestling Nightclub event on January 26 in Toronto, Canada.
‘DJ Nhooph’ was billed as the event’s special guest.
Nhooph has now taken to Twitter to comment on the announcement, writing:
Huge thank you to @RemixRumble for making my wildest dream come true!Lets party Toronto!!
The former ‘Aliyah’ was released by WWE as part of the September 2023 round of cuts.
She hadn’t appeared for WWE for a year ahead of her release, with her last match for WWE coming in September 2022.
During her final WWE match, Aliyah and Raquel Rodriguez dropped their Women’s Tag Team Championship to Dakota Kai and IYO SKY of Damage CTRL.
Several other stars released by WWE in September have now returned to the ring following their non-compete clauses expiring.
Mustafa Ali is currently on a ‘world tour’ and notably cut an emotional promo following his in-ring return.
After appearing at Wrestle Kingdom 18, Dolph Ziggler is now preparing for his NJPW in-ring debut, which you can read more about right here.
