WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has reacted to AEW’s Toa Liona and his recent statement responding to people calling him a ‘Wish’ Bloodline member.
The Bloodline has undergone a shift in membership with the absence of Roman Reigns and The Rock, leading to Kevin Owens referring to them as the ‘bootleg Bloodline‘.
Over in AEW, Toa Liona has found himself referred to by some ‘fans’ as the ‘Wish.com version of the Bloodline’.
The AEW star has responded to these claims, saying it’s ‘funny’ that fans consider that to be ‘an insult’ and that he’s ‘proudly trained train by the Bloodline.’
Rikishi has sent a message of support to Liona in the wake of the comments, tweeting:
“🩸☝🏾 your SOLID uce .. #Adapt”
Liona is a two-time ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion (with Brian Cage & Bishop Kaun).
Alongside Kaun, the pair are known as the Gates of Agony and were members of the Mogul Embassy until the May 8 episode of AEW Dynamite.
That episode saw Liona, Kaun and Brian Cage turn on Swerve Strickland, leading to the AEW World Champion commenting about “fake friends” on Twitter.
Rikishi has previously expressed his hope that The Usos would come back together after WrestleMania 40.
Jimmy Uso is no longer in the current version of the Bloodline after the events of WWE SmackDown on April 14 which saw the debut of Tama Tonga.
