Following Hell in a Cell last night, it has been reported that Becky Lynch was backstage at the WWE pay-per-view.

It was previously reported that Becky Lynch has been training at the WWE Performance Center ahead of her return. According to PWInsider, The Man was backstage for yesterday’s Hell in a Cell show.

Lynch was also in attendance for the most recent episode of SmackDown, however it was reported that there were no plans for her to appear on Friday’s show.

The Man hasn’t wrestled since her WrestleMania 36 Raw Women’s Championship defence against Shayna Baszler. In May 2020, Lynch announced her pregnancy, revealing that Money in the Bank winner Asuka would be the new titleholder.

Hell in a Cell 2021 was the last pay-per-view of the ThunderDome era. WWE returns to the road for the July 16 episode of SmackDown, ahead of Money in the Bank 2021 on July 18.

It has been speculated that Lynch will return to WWE when the company begins touring again. As SummerSlam in August is reportedly set to be an “all hands on deck” show, we could see Lynch return just in time for The Biggest Party of the Summer.

Another top WWE star that hasn’t wrestled since last year’s WrestleMania event is Brock Lesnar. It has been reported that WWE is hopeful that The Beast will return “imminently”.
