WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Operations & Strategy James Kimball is gone from WWE, per Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.
Sapp noted that Fightful was told that Kimball was terminated immediately following a ‘HR violation’.
Sapp took to Twitter to break the news, writing:
Fightful has learned that WWE SVP of Talent Operations & Strategy James Kimball is no longer with the company.
We’re told it was an HR violation and he was terminated immediately last week.
The nature of the ‘HR violation’ wasn’t specified in Sapp’s initial report.
Kimball had been with WWE for two years and seven months, after joining the company in August 2020 as the Vice President of Business Operations.
He became the SVP of Global Talent Strategy & Development in June 2021, before becoming the SVP, Head of Talent Operations & Strategy in August 2022.
Kimball notably worked on WWE’s NIL ‘Next In Line’ collegiate talent development program during his time with the company, among other things.
Prior to his WWE tenure, Kimball had worked with the UFC for almost 10 years.
We will continue to provide updates on the situation as they become available.
