It’s being reported that a couple of stars from IMPACT Wrestling will be wrestling in AEW as part of the relationship between the two promotions.
Wrestling Inc is reporting that the promotions’ relationship “is not currently scheduled to be that intertwined”, and Kenny Omega appearing on IMPACT this coming Tuesday is likely a “one-off”.
It was noted Omega is doing it as a “favour” for Don Callis, and Tony Khan of course signed off on the idea.
As well as Omega appearing on IMPACT, it’s believed that the promotion’s Tag Team Champions Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows will be heading to AEW for one match too, which is likely going to be set up by Omega’s appearance.
The report also added that Don Callis’ IMPACT contract comes up in one month, and “it sounds like” he could be joining AEW full-time as Omega’s manager when that happens.
