Just hours before Monday Night Raw went live this week, WWE announced via social media that Andrade and Angel Garza will challenge The Street Profits for the Raw Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania in just over one week.
Equally randomly, WWE confirmed at the same time at Aleister Black will go one-on-one with Bobby Lashley. Both matches had absolutely no build on TV prior to Raw this week.
If a recent report is to be believed, then don’t be surprised to see some more “random” matches added to the pay-per-view in the coming days.
According to PWInsider‘s Mike Johnson, his sources have stated that we should expect to see some more matches with no build added to the PPV:
“I was told to expect more matches to WrestleMania, believe it or not. I was told to expect some random sorta zany matches announced. That’s what I was told earlier today.”
There is obviously no word on what these matches are going to be, but the following bouts have been rumoured for this year’s marquee pay-per-view.
- Sami Zayn vs. Daniel Bryan – Intercontinental Championship
- John Morrison & The Miz vs. The Usos – SmackDown Tag Team Championship
- Otis vs. Dolph Ziggler
