Everyone has their favourite Raw and SmackDown opening theme songs from history. For me, it’s “Across The Nation” by Union Underground, mainly because it was the first one I ever heard while playing SmackDown “Shut Your Mouth” on the PS2.
The fact that I can’t even remember what the current Raw and SmackDown opening themes are is enough of an indication that the themes are in need of a refresh, and according to a report from WrestleVotes, that’s exactly what is happening.
The report is that Raw will be getting the song “Legendary” by Skillet, and SmackDown will have “Are You Ready” by AC/DC as its new opening theme.
Getting a lot of questions about whether “show opening” intro videos will return? The answer is YES. For both shows, with the themes that have been played some already. RAW will use “Legendary” by Skillet & SD has “Are You Ready” by AC/DC.

Both, as you will hear if you click the videos below, are pretty much what you would expect of a WWE opening theme, and in fact when I heard them I could already see Brock Lesnar’s face and Roman Reigns saying “OOOOOH AHHHHHH”, so that’s got to be a positive.
