
A new report has revealed that TNT and WarnerMedia are considering roles for CM Punk outside of the promotion.
As per PWInsider, CM Punk’s signing has been seen by the TNT network as Punk joining “their team”. TNT is said to be considering Punk for “potential ideas beyond AEW”.
Prior to joining AEW, Punk worked as an MMA commentator, even teasing his wrestling return at CFFC 99.Punk’s AEW deal reportedly will not impact his commentary position, and he’ll still be able to pursue acting roles.
With WarnerMedia owning part of the TV rights for the NHL, it has been speculated that Punk could eventually work with the hockey league.
During Punk’s promo on Rampage, the former WWE Champion told fans to collect a complimentary ice cream bar on their way out of the United Center. Punk has now explained the significance of ice cream bars to his wrestling return.
