Report: WWE Fires Top Executive Today

Sean Ross Sapp recently revealed that there have been backstage layoffs within WWE today, and we are starting to learn who has been let go.

PWInsider is reporting that the digital department has been “extremely hard hit”, with Executive Vice President Jaylar Donlan being released today. Donlan had been with WWE for eight years.

The report notes that “a lot of other” people were let go today, so much so that “multiple WWE staffers who survived the cuts have expressed their shock and surprise”, especially considering how high up some of the released staff members have been.

PWInsider has even reported that there is a belief that some of WWE’s divisions may have even been folded altogether today.
