A new report has revealed the new WWE contract details for WWE Hall of Famer and former United States Champion Rey Mysterio.
On December 18, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer now reports that Rey Mysterio has signed a new deal with WWE.
Per Nick Hausman of Haus of Wrestling, Mysterio’s new deal is a three-year agreement with the company.
Despite the fact that Mysterio is currently injured, it is reported that he intends on wrestling for the entire length of his new contract.
The WWE Hall of Famer was sidelined in mid-November and will reportedly be out of action for up to 8 weeks.
The injury was explained on television with Santos Escobar officially turning his back on the Latino World Order and attacked Mysterio on the November 10 edition of SmackDown.
Mysterio last wrestled in a loss to Logan Paul for the United States Championship at WWE Crown Jewel 2023.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on Rey Mysterio’s new WWE deal and injury status when they become available.
