Rhea Ripley Breaks Silence After Vacating WWE Championship WWE

WWE star Rhea Ripley has broken her silence after being forced to vacate her Women’s World Championship due to injury.

On tonight’s April 15 episode of WWE Raw Rhea Ripley made the heartbreaking announcement that she would be vacating her WWE Women’s World Championship.

Noting that she was injured and was likely to be on the shelf for a period of months, she left her title in the ring but vowed revenge on who she held responsible for the injury: Liv Morgan.

Now Ripley has broken her silence, taking to her Twitter account and dropping merely her impressive statistic as champion.

Ripley said:

“380 Days.”

Ripley’s reign began at WrestleMania 39 when she won the title from Charlotte Flair, holding the championship for more than an entire calendar year before sustaining this injury.

According to reports, the injury was legitimately suffered during the brief Ripley and Morgan backstage brawl that aired on Raw last week.

No announcement was made regarding how a new champion would be determined as of time of writing.

Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE Raw, DIY won the triple threat match against New Day and the Creed Brothers to earn the first shot at the new WWE World Tag Team Champions, R-Truth and The Miz.
