Ric Flair Appears On AEW Dynamite

Breaking – Ric Flair has made an appearance on AEW Dynamite in a segment along with Sting before being interrupted by Christian Cage.

He was announced as Sting’s gift from Tony Khan as the pair rejoined on-screen for the first time in over twenty years on TBS.

In the segment it was alluded to that Flair would be making this last run alongside Sting, making appearances until AEW Revolution but there weren’t concrete dates or details revealed.

Christian Cage then came out to challenge Darby Allin and Sting to a six-man tag match at AEW Full Gear, with a partner of their choice.

While Cage spoke about it in a sarcastic manner, there was no indication that Flair truly intended to return to in-ring action in the segment other than jokingly giving Sting a chop.

The match at Full Gear will be Cage, Nick Wayne and Luchasaurus vs Sting, Darby Allin and a partner of their choosing – NOT Ric Flair.

Sting accepted the challenge and the match is official, but their partner remains a mystery for now.

Allin and Sting later approached Adam Copeland backstage to try to convince him to join them, but he seemed to remain reluctant to fight Christian Cage.

You’d have to think he’s still the favorite to be their partner though with the way everything has panned out.
