Ric Flair has celebrated a special anniversary.
In August 2017, Ric Flair had surgery in Georgia to remove an obstructive piece of his bowel, which led to various complications with the most serious being kidney failure.
This necessitated dialysis treatment and ongoing hospitalization. Flair was later discharged from rehabilitation and was allowed to return home a month later in September.
On August 14, Ric Flair took to social media to post a photo from the day in 2017 along with a recent picture to celebrate the six-year anniversary of his surgery and surviving. He wrote:
6 Years Ago, I Was Given A 5% Chance To Live!
Ric Flair last appeared on WWE programming during the 2023 WWE Draft to announce some of the draft picks.
As previously reported, Flair has revealed who he thinks is “the real Tribal Chief” following Tribal Combat at WWE SummerSlam.
