AEW Star Responds To Ric Flair Statement After Alleged Comments AEW

AEW’s Miro has responded to criticism of Ric Flair in the wake of a promo that is scheduled to air as part of Rampage.

During the taping of the promo at the November 29 episode of AEW Dynamite, Sting and Flair appeared together in a segment for Rampage.

As recently reported, according to fans who were in attendance and reported on social media afterwards, Flair “invited all the women in the audience from ages 18-28 to meet him in his hotel room. No boyfriends or husbands.”

This claim led to a lot of criticism being brought Ric Flair’s way with the WWE Hall of Famer commenting on Twitter:

“I Am So Tired Of Hearing All This Negativity! I Don’t Need To Work, And I Don’t Need The Money. Can’t I Simply Enjoy Being By My Dear Friend @Sting’s Side For The Next Few Months Without So Much Hatred?

“I Know I’m Old, But That Doesn’t Mean I Can’t Enjoy Life! I Have Earned The Right To Do Whatever I Want & I’m Exactly Where I Want To Be!

“I Appreciate Everything@TonyKhan, But I’m More Than Willing To Walk Away If I Am Embarrassing You And Your Company.

“All I Can Say Is I’m Sorry!”

Miro has commented on the reaction to Flair’s words, writing:

“Stop reading the dirt sheets. They are poison and they do not represent the fans.”

At the time of writing, it seems the segment with Flair and Sting is still being advertised, but the alleged line that caused controversy may be edited out.
