Rikishi Weighs In On The Usos’ WWE Singles Runs & Potential Reunion WWE

WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has weighed in on former Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos’ singles runs and potential reunion.

The Usos have cemented their place as one of the greatest tag teams in WWE history.

However, Jimmy and Jey broke up after Jimmy turned on his brother at SummerSlam 2023. At WrestleMania 40, Jey got a measure of revenge when he defeated Jimmy in their first singles encounter.

Jey has gone on to become one of the top babyfaces on the Raw brand, while Jimmy is currently out of action with an injury after being ousted from The Bloodline by Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga.

Speaking on RIKISHI FATU OFF THE TOP, Rikishi was asked about the possibility of his sons reuniting again. He answered:

“Yeah, there’s always a possibility,”

“I mean, I’m assuming that a lot of the fans miss seeing them two in the ring together as one. But it’s also kind of refreshing to be able to see them venturing out on singles competition as well.”

“As a wrestler, you have to be able to go down that path. I always say, like how how Hart Foundation did.”

“Everybody knows that Owen and Bret are brothers, but they’re parted ways to feel out their singles careers.”

“Brothers are family members, you would always want to venture into, and I’m glad my boys are doing that now.”

On The Usos’ reunion being the only way to go after Jey and Jimmy are satisfied with their singles runs, Rikishi said:

“Yeah, I think once that’s over and they’re satisfied with their singles competition run, the only thing else to do is to come back, to be able to give the fans that treat, of seeing one of the greatest tag teams in the business to reunite,”

“So hopefully, that’ll come back. But during the meantime, I say that they’re just enjoying their time in singles competition. Jimmy’s taking some time off for a bit. Jey is on that ‘Yeet’ Mania all over the world.”

“To me, he’s one of the hottest entrances that we’ve seen in a long time. To be able to witness that with my own eyes, I’m a proud daddy.”

Jey Uso has staked his claim for the Money In The Bank Ladder Match for the event on July 6.
