ROH Best in the World: Preview and Prediction

Jay Lethal vs. Kenny King, Match 3 of the Best of 3 Series

As we head into this match, the Best of 3 Series is tied at 1 to 1.  Kenny King has been dominant in both matches. In match one, King used a distraction to low blow Lethal.  He then hit Lethal’s own finisher, The Lethal Injection.  The second match ended in disqualification with King hitting Lethal with a microphone.  He then stomped on Lethal’s arm while it was trapped in a chair.

Due to that action, questions linger about the health of Lethal.  King claims he’s better than Lethal and he should have been the focus of ROH.  Lethal is hanging onto his spot near the top of the card.  If you follow typical wrestling logic, this match should allow Lethal to get his revenge, with the face going over.  This would cement Lethal as a potential contender for the World Title once again.  On the other hand, King could win and be thrust into the main event.

This match may help predict who wins the Taven/Cobb match.  I think this match might indicate who’s next in-line for the World Title.
