WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns teased his retirement from wrestling in promo during Saturday’s house show in Trenton, New Jersey.
At the ‘Saturday Night’s Main Event’ show, Reigns defeated Drew McIntyre in singles action.
Following the match, Reigns took to the mike to discuss his future, indicating that it’s a little more uncertain than fans initially thought.
The Tribal Chief stated that he’s starting a new phase of life, questioning whether he’ll ever be wrestling in Trenton again.

In April, WWE President Nick Khan revealed that the company does have plans for Reigns to become a big crossover star, similar to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Batista and John Cena, who were successful in Hollywood following WWE runs.
In early 2021, Reigns himself stated that he was planning for his future outside WWE, believing at the time that Hollywood would be the next step for him.
Reigns is currently the WWE Universal Champion, and is scheduled to team with The Usos at WrestleMania Backlash to face off against Drew McIntyre & RK-Bro.
