It was reported following last week’s Final Battle show that Colt Cabana had officially finished up with Ring of Honor and was free to speak to other companies.
Just a few days later, Cabana was the guest commentator for the AEW Dark show that will air on Christmas Eve next week.
While the likes of Taz, Arn Anderson and Vickie Guerrero have appeared on AEW Dark as guest commentators since its launch, many people ar speculating that Cabana’s could be the catalyst for a proper run with the company.
Cabana is an immensely entertaining and talented worker who would fit very well into AEW’s midcard. I would not be surprised to see him have at least a few matches with the promotion in 2020.
Cabana still works for NWA, but could easily appear on AEW’s shows next year. Make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for the latest on his future.
Speaking of former ROH and current NWA stars who could be headed to AEW, there is still no word on if Marty Scurll will be reunited with The Elite in AEW next year.
