It’s finally happened. The moment that’s been teased for what feels like years at this point. Rusev Day have officially split. Following a United States Championship match between Rusev and the champion Shinsuke Nakamura, Aiden English decided enough was enough.
Earlier in the night, Lana had caught him insulting her and claiming that Rusev Day would be nothing without him. During the match, Rusev looked to have the match won, but English climbed up on the apron to call out for Rusev to ‘crush’. Rusev was somehow distracted by this, even though Lana has been doing the same thing for years now, allowing Nakamura to roll up ‘The Bulgarian Brute’ for the win.

As Lana began to console Rusev on his loss, English came up behind and attacked Rusev with a microphone, with the Rusev Day customization breaking off it. English concluded his attack with a final ‘Happy Rusev Day’ before walking off.
