Sammy Guevara Shares Touching Post Ahead Of AEW Double Or Nothing Main Event AEW

With his main event title bout at AEW Double or Nothing on pay-per-view on the horizon, Sammy Guevara shares his thoughts in a sweet way.

While Sammy Guevara has been open about his winding path to wrestling stardom (including several ‘every man’ jobs while chasing his dream) he paid homage to young Sammy one more time before hitting the main event on pay-per-view tonight.

Writing alongside a photo of him as a child, holding up a wrestling toy he appears to have been gifted, Guevara shared sweet sentiments.

Sammy Guevara wrote:

“From making cardboard belts, to flipping burgers, to everything in between to get here. It’s a wild life and I struggle to find the right words to describe this feeling I have today. It sometimes doesn’t feel real, and sometimes I feel that I don’t deserve it.

“But I know this is real and I’ve worked all my life for this moment. Dreams come true and tonight I’m living my dream. Thank you all who have helped me get here and I also wanna say thank you to myself. A lot of days I wanted to give up & quit.

“A lot of days were hard but I believe the universe will never put anything in front of you that you can’t overcome. It took a lot to get here but I made it here. And tonight I hope to make little me proud. #LFG #AndNew”

Again for the possibly millionth time, if Sammy Guevara and his lovely wife Tay Melo don’t turn face after their delightful appearance on AEW All Access and the lead up to this main event match… then what was this all for?! For the love of Tony Khan!

We’ll have to stay tuned to AEW Double or Nothing on pay-per-view to find out whether or not Sammy will capture championship gold, finally turn face or something else entirely.

Elsewhere in the championship picture, Jungle Boy Jack Perry also took to Twitter to share a message ahead of his big opportunity at the AEW World Championship.

In the main event of tonight’s AEW Double or Nothing on pay-per-view, AEW World Champion MJF will take on Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara and Jungle Boy Jack Perry in a battle of the ‘Four Pillars’ of the company for the championship.
