Ouch! No love lost between these two AEW stars as Sammy Guevara responds to reports regarding MJF considering not re-signing with AEW.
As we previously reported MJF continues to weigh his options in the future as his contractual obligation to All Elite Wrestling is set to expire in 2024.
Now Sammy Guevara has responded, writing on Twitter:
“I hope he doesn’t ??”
Guevara recently has been embroiled in a feud with Scorpio Sky over the TNT Championship in an attempt to reclaim the gently used belts but earlier today also posted several messages indicating he might have his eyes on a bigger prize.
Posting a photo of himself holding what appears to be the AEW World Championship title, then several hours later tweeting:
“Everything is unrealistic until it’s not.”
Sammy Guevara remains without an opponent for the upcoming pay-per-view, Double or Nothing however the card continues to come together with MJF anticipated to be facing Wardlow, provided Wardlow meets his stipulations in advance of May 29.
Currently set to feature Hangman Adam Page defending his AEW World Championship against CM Punk, the finals of the women’s and men’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament.
I hope he doesn’t 🙏🏼 https://t.co/5gXtooq9Mo
