Tay Conti Fires Back At Scorpio Sky Following AEW Rampage

Tay Conti has reacted to Scorpio Sky firing shots at her during his promo on this week’s (May 6) edition of AEW Rampage.

On Friday’s show, Sky vowed to be a dominant TNT Champion. referencing fan criticisms about AEW ‘hot potatoing’ the gold, Sky stated that the title will no longer be ‘passed around like Tay Conti backstage.’

Conti, who is currently on vacation, took to social media to give her response. Implying that Sky has slid into several people’s DMs, Conti tweeted:

Conti, Sammy Guevara’s real life girlfriend, was first partnered with Guevara onscreen during his rivalry with Sky. Scorpio defeated Guevara for the TNT Title in a ladder match on the April 27 edition of Dynamite.

Guevara and Conti have since won the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship, bending the rules to claim the gold at TripleMania XXX in Monterrey.
