Top AEW Star Calls For Tony Khan To Introduce More Championship Titles AEW

A top AEW star has called upon Tony Khan to introduce more championships to the company’s current selection.

Speaking to Women’s Wrestling Talk, AEW Women’s World Champion Saraya discussed the women’s division in the company, making known her desire to see both a women’s tag and trios championships introduced in the future.

Saraya pointed toward the plethora of female talent, some of which in tag teams and trios as perfect justification behind Tony Khan making the decision.

Saraya explained:

“I would love for there to be a female trios championship or a regular tag team championship for women because we do have two (women’s titles), and that’s awesome, but there are so many women on our roster, and so many women that are in tag teams.

“Why don’t we make a tag team championship? Who knows. Tony always has great ideas up his sleeve.”

Despite the seemingly impending split of The Outcasts (Saraya, Ruby Soho & Toni Storm), Saraya has been riding high since All In on August 27, where she captured her first world title in almost a decade.

The AEW women’s division and its champion Saraya will have been put on notice by the return of Jade Cargill on this past Saturday’s Collision (September 9).

Thankfully for Saraya, Cargill looked focused on the women who dethroned her for the TBS Championship at Double or Nothing back in May, Kris Statlander, whom she hit with Jaded.
