A former WWE star has commented on Sami Zayn’s Undisputed WWE Championship victory, saying it sends the right message to the locker room.
At WWE Night of Champions, Sami Zayn finally captured his first World Championship of his WWE career, defeating Cody Rhodes and Gunther in a Triple Threat to win the Undisputed WWE Championship.
This was Zayn’s 10th attempt to win a world championship on the WWE main roster, with it coming a decade after his call up from WWE NXT.
Killer Kross Says Sami Zayn’s WWE Championship Victory Sends The Right Message
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, former WWE star Killer Kross spoke about Sami’s WWE Championship victory, and how it sends the right message to the locker room.
He said:
“I am really happy for the human being Rami to finally be awarded this position. I think it sends a good message to the future of pro wrestlers when they’re looking at career trajectories, decisions being made, perhaps subjecting themselves to things they don’t want to be involved in or do creatively.
“That there was a path for this guy who clearly was never figured into the major plans of these larger than life superstar people. He did it, and I think it sends the right message to young people getting involved in the business.
“Perhaps anybody who is in a place where they feel stuck, or stalled, that have been around for a while, I think it sends the right message to the locker room too.”

With Sami Zayn finally capturing a world championship after many fans believed it would never happen, there are other popular names on the WWE roster that fans believe are overdue for a title run.
