Several Main Roster Stars Appear On WWE NXT

UPDATE: Another pair of main roster stars have returned to WWE on tonight’s episode of NXT, find out who and all the details at this link.

Multiple WWE main roster stars made appearances on tonight’s edition of NXT (June 13) with a pair of big matches.

In the opening match of the night, free agent Mustafa Ali joined forces with Tyler Bate and North American Champion Wes Lee to take on a dark trio.

The Schism (Joe Gacy, Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid) put up a good fight against the trio of babyfaces however in the end, when a referee bump led to a near fall for the spooky group.

However after a second referee got involved to point out that there had been a tag, the match continued with Mustafa Ali picking up the pinfall victory.

Later in the show, Ali revealed he’ll be the special guest referee for an eventual singles match between his partners, Lee and Bate.

Baron Corbin is also set to appear on tonight’s NXT in the main event against Ilja Dragunov in a match that was set up a couple of weeks ago, and in the midst of Corbin targeting NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes in a feud that crossed over onto SmackDown.

We also had an appearance from Dana Brooke in a backstage interview to set up a future match with Cora Jade.

Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE NXT, we heard from Seth Rollins via video screen, who accepted Bron Breakker’s challenge for a World Heavyweight Championship match for next week’s NXT.
