There have been differently landing spots for many former WWE stars this year. A good number of them ended up working with AEW while others went to Impact. Now, more former WWE stars have made their way to MLW.
Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc. is currently reporting that ACH, Lio Rush and Shawn Daivari all worked the recent Major League Wrestling event. The show was taped at the GILT Nightclub in Orlando, Florida. The report doesn’t say what the stars did at the event but only that 16 weeks of television were filmed.
ACH had a very public departure from WWE in 2019. Wrestling as Jordan Myles, he left the company over a t-shirt controversy with the design resembling blackface. He has since returned to the independents working as his old name ACH.
Lio Rush also left WWE recently. A number of reports stated that he had attracted quite a bit of heat onto himself during his time in the company. Still, he won the NXT Cruiserweight Championship last year.
Finally, Shawn Daivari had not been an on-screen character with WWE for some time but was working as a producer. He was released earlier this year and his match at the MLW show was his first in 18 months.
