Shawn Spears has shared a new message following his WWE return, using comments recently made by The Rock.
Spears made a genuinely surprising WWE return on the February 27 edition of NXT, with the ex-AEW star attacking Ridge Holland with a steel chair.
Interestingly, the former Tye Dillinger was called ‘Shawn Spears’ on WWE TV, which is the name he used prior to his previous WWE run, and with AEW.
Spears has now taken to Twitter to share a clip from The Rock’s recent 21 minute promo.
Shawn Spears’ clip showed The Rock saying that pro-wrestling is exciting once again, before cutting to Spears’ WWE return.
You can watch Spears’ video below.
The returning star captioned the video:
FINALLY!!!!…. Someone telling the Truth.

Spears hasn’t wrestled since competing at the GLCW Blizzard Brawl independent event in December 2023.
His last AEW match took place at All Out 2023, with Spears competing in the Over Budget Charity Battle Royal.
The Rock returned to WWE TV on Friday’s (March 1) episode of SmackDown, where he responded to Cody Rhodes’ challenge for a match.
An interesting producer was listed for this segment, which you can read more about right here.
