IMPACT Wrestling has made the news a lot this week thanks to the major angle coming out of AEW Dynamite, but now it’s doing so for the wrong reasons.
It emerged recently that there had been a positive COVID-19 test at the latest set of TV tapings and talent wasn’t happy with how it had been handled, and now more news has come to light.
Fightful Select reports that several IMPACT stars said they’d never been tested by the promotion across multiple TV tapings.
It was noted that talent had been “encouraged” to get tested after the recent GCW outbreak, but doing so wasn’t enforced.
At IMPACT tapings, talent is temperature tested and then signs off that they haven’t been suffering from any COVID-19 symptoms.
There was said to be “significant heat” on the promotion’s management for its handling of the pandemic, especially coming out of the latest set of tapings.
