AEW Star Recalls Meeting Mercedes Mone At All In London 2023

AEW star Skye Blue has recalled meeting Mercedes Mone following her appearance at All In London at Wembley Stadium.

While Mone is currently recovering from an injury, the former ‘Sasha Banks’ did appear in the crowd for the August 27 show.

This fuelled rumors that we will one day see the CEO wrestle in an AEW ring.

Speaking with Good Karma Wrestling, Skye Blue noted that she met Mone while in London.

Wanting a match against the former WWE star, she said:

“I would also love to wrestle Mercedes Moné. Meeting her at Wembley was really, really cool.

“Watching her matches growing up and just thinking one day that I could wrestle her and actually seeing Willow (Nightingale) wrestle her for the New Japan STRONG Women’s Title was amazing.

“I was so proud of Willow, so happy for Willow. Wish I could have been there for that match. Kyle (Fletcher) was actually there and he was super proud. He watched from the crowd so, yeah.”

Mone hasn’t wrestled since breaking her ankle in a match against Willow Nightingale at NJPW STRONG Resurgence in May.
