Smackdown Live Host Huge Dark Match!

Last night’s Dark Match following 205 Live saw a rehash of a rivalry we’ve only just seen the end of, as WWE Champion AJ Styles took on WWE United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura. Needless to say, neither strap was on the line.

Concluding in less than ten minutes, the bout which should have lit-up WrestleMania 34 came to an end with a thunderous Styles Clash. The match perplexed many onlookers in the arena who pondered why the ‘Champ That Runs the Camp’ didn’t appear on Smackdown Live itself.

Worry not though; the ‘Phenomenal One’ will be on the blue brand next week to call out his SummerSlam challenger Samoa Joe for referring to him as a poor father and husband. Yes, WWE are going down the personal route again. Why a championship isn’t enough to build a feud around in the present is a mystery to us all.
