Find Out Who Won Every First Round Match In SmackDown Number One Contenders Tournament

Tonight’s WWE SmackDown (January 20) hosted every first round match of the SmackDown tag team tournament to determine the number one contenders to get the next title shot.

In the first match of the night, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus bested the Viking Raiders to advance to the second round.

In an interesting match between Los Lotharios and Hit Row featuring Top Dolla dropping insults toward commentator Michael Cole who didn’t back down from noting that he wasn’t the only one who commented publicly on his now infamous top rope botch. 

Hit Row ended up victorious to advance after an interference by B-Fab.

In the next match up, Imperium took on the Brawling Brutes in a hard hitting match.

In the end it was Ridge Holland who took the pin from Ludwig Kaiser to cement Imperium’s advancement in the tournament.

The final first round match of the night saw Maximum Male Models facing off against Legado Del Fantasma.

With Zelina Vega on commentary for the match, Legado Del Fantasma picked up the win over Maximum Male Models to also advance.

The next round will feature face offs between Drew McIntyre and Sheamus versus Hit Row and Imperium taking on Legado Del Fantasma in the semi-finals.
