Solo Sikoa Explains Why He Didn’t Want To Become An Uso WWE

Solo Sikoa has discussed his WWE main roster run so far, revealing that he had hoped that he wouldn’t become a third ‘Uso’.

Sikoa, notably the brother of Jimmy and Jey Uso, made his WWE main roster debut at the September 3 Clash At The Castle event, helping Roman Reigns during his Undisputed WWE Universal Title defence.

The star had made a name for himself in NXT, rather than just joining the Bloodline immediately after signing with WWE in August 2021.

Speaking with Louis Dangoor of Give Me Sport, Sikoa noted that he never wanted to be an Uso, stating:

“That was one of the things that was messing with me. I was thinking about and was like, ‘I hope I’m not doing all this hard work in NXT, I’m establishing who I am and building my character, how I look and how I am.’ I’m different from my brothers. I got the blonde hair.

“Solo has really grown on me. ‘I hope they don’t change me as an Uso.’ It’s such an easy transition to go back. I took time to perfect my craft as Solo. It’s an easy transition if they wanted me to go back or be another Uso.”

The Usos are currently recognised as the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, after defeating RK-Bro in a Raw vs SmackDown tag team title unification bout in May.

This came after Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar in a title unification match at WrestleMania 38 in April to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

Reigns recently passed 200 days as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, ahead of his next title defence against Logan Paul at Crown Jewel in November.
