“Stardom fans,

Kimura had tweeted out pictures seemingly displaying herself having performed self-harm earlier on May 22. The text associated with the tweet suggested she had been receiving hate and cyber-bullying.
She had been wrestling since 2016 and had won a number of championships in Stardom and DDT. Kimura was also part of Stardom’s Tokyo Dome exhibition match earlier this year on January 4. She undoubtedly had a successful career in front of her.
From all of us here at WrestleTalk, we offer our condolences to all the friends, family, and fans of Hana Kimura and would like to remind everyone that words carry weight even on social media.
