Current AEW Women’s World Champion Timeless Toni Storm showed up in another company’s event during WrestleMania weekend.
Despite its place as the second biggest wrestling promotion in North America, All Elite Wrestling usually doesn’t have much of presence during WWE’s WrestleMania weekend.
Outside of Ring of Honor’s yearly Supercard of Honor event, AEW has had limited involvement with other promotions’ shows that take place during Mania week. However, it seems like the newfound co-promotional relationship for Tony Khan’s company has changed things a bit.
On April 4, STARDOM held their American Dream 2024 event from Philadelphia. The show featured a surprise appearance from AEW’s biggest starlet.
Following a bout featuring fellow AEW star Mariah May, AEW Women’s World Champion Timeless Toni Storm appeared to give flowers to her current protege to the dismay of May’s STARDOM tag team partner Mina Shirakawa.
STARDOM American Dream 2024 also featured current AEW star and TBS Championship number one contender Willow Nightingale. Also, current NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion and CMLL star Stephanie Vaquer wrestled on the card as well.
Timeless Toni Storm is set to defend her Women’s World Championship against Thunder Rosa on April 21 at AEW Dynasty. For the full lineup for the event, click here.
