In November 2023, Sting announced that he will have his retirement match of his career at AEW Revolution in March 2024.
The event has since been announced for Greensboro, North Carolina and has sold over 10,000 tickets for the show.
However, “The Stinger” has been making stops on his retirement tour, and we now know when his next match will take place.
On Friday, January 5, AEW President Tony Khan announced that Sting and Darby Allin will face The Workhorsemen on the January 6 edition of AEW Collision from Charlotte, North Carolina.
Sting and Darby Allin are coming off the heels of a 8 Man Tag Team victory alongside Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara over Ricky Starks, Big Bill, Konosuke Takeshita and Powerhouse Hobbs at AEW Worlds End.
Also announced for this Saturday’s AEW Collision, FTR will face House of Black and Eddie Kingston will defend the AEW Continental Crown Championship against Trent Beretta.
