Ever since Kevin Owens rallied to untie the participants of Money in the Bank against the ‘Monster Among Men’, and was subsequently shoved from a towering ladder in spectacular fashion, this has been in the works. Since then, the former NXT Champion has failed in every attempt to avoid his mammoth adversary.
The result has been a totaled car and Owens locked in a portable toilet and pitched off of the stage in a moment which led fans to question WWE’s booking strategy. The match was made official last night on Raw when the pair came face to face in General Manager Kurt Angle’s office, where the former WWE Universal Champion had been hiding.
