Multiple reports have now indicated that Stu Grayson has left AEW, following his contract expiring.
Dave Meltzer and Fightful Select (subscription required) both report that Grayson and AEW couldn’t come to terms on a new deal before his deal was up on Sunday, May 1.
It was recently noticed that Stu Grayson had been removed from the AEW website’s roster page along with Marko Stunt, Joey Janela and Jack Evans, who were all removed after their contracts expired. Fightful has confirmed that Grayson’s removal was not a mistake, as he’s now a free agent.
The report also noted that those spoken to don’t believe the door is shut on a potential return.
Grayson’s last match aired on Monday’s edition of AEW Dark: Elevation, a 12-man tag that was taped prior to last week’s episode of Dynamite.
We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
Regarding Stu Grayson and AEW, his contract his expired and both sides could not agree to a money figure on a new deal.
