Surprise Title Change At WWE Night Of Champions 2023

Surprise Title Change At WWE Night Of Champions 2023 WWE

A shock title change at WWE Night of Champions has ended a historic title reign for a top WWE star.

After Asuka wasn’t able to spit her Mist at Bianca Belair, she instead covered her hand in the seemingly toxic substance, instead smearing it on Belair’s eyes while she was up in position for Bianca’s finisher, the K.O.D.

Able to reverse out of the K.O.D., Asuka captured the pinfall victory over Bianca Belair to become the new champ.

The longest reign of the modern era of any women’s champion has been ended in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia as Asuka has become WWE Raw Women’s Champion.

Elsewhere at Night of Champions, Trish Stratus squeaked out a win over Becky Lynch with a big assist from an ex-NXT star and after the match, Lynch showed off a gruesome pic.

Elsewhere at Night of Champions, a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion was crowned in the first match of the night.
