WWE Star Comments After First Ever Raw Singles Match

Tegan Nox has thanked Becky Lynch after the September 25 WWE Raw saw her defeat Natalya to set up an NXT Women’s Championship match.

As can be seen in the video below, before Nox faced Natalya, Becky Lynch had some words to share with Nox, saying:

“Tegan Nox, there she is. You know where she wasn’t last week? Out in the ring.

“Look, when I made that open challenge, I had somebody like you in mind.

“And, I actually saw you at the curtain… I saw you at the curtain with the look in your eyes.

“So what happened?”

Nox would explain how Natalya was able to answer Lynch’s open challenge last week, saying:

“Natty was there as well, and being the veteran she is, I just let her jump to the front.”

The September 18 episode of WWE Raw saw Natalya answer the open challenge, with it being reported that the plan had been for Nox to appear.

The decision was made to change the match from Nox to Natalya “just 10 minutes before doors opened to the arena.”

Lynch wouldn’t be overly happy with this storyline reasoning, reminding Nox that:

“You can’t do that. You gotta step on some toes. You gotta claim your worth.

“Look, I have a big match on Saturday at No Mercy and I want you to be next in line after I win.”

Nox would go on to face Natalya on WWE Raw, defeating the veteran, much to the respect of Lynch.

Following her encounter with Lynch, Nox posted a message to Twitter, saying:

“Thanks for reminding me just who the hell I am @BeckyLynchWWE”

Becky Lynch faces Tiffany Stratton in an Extreme Rules match at NXT No Mercy on September 30, 2023.

Whoever wins that will defend the title against Nox on Raw next week.
