The Rock Teases Long-Term WWE Plans WWE

Following his return match at WrestleMania 40, former WWE Champion The Rock has teased his long-term WWE plans.

At WWE WrestleMania 40 Night One, The Rock competed in his first official match in nearly a decade when he and Roman Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in the main event.

After defeating Reigns to end his 1316 day reign on Night Two, new Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes was confronted by “The Final Boss” on the Raw After WrestleMania 40.

The segment hinted at a potential future singles showdown between Rhodes and The Rock for down the line.

On April 19, The Rock took to Instagram to share a video of his Road to WrestleMania 40 and further tease what’s next for “The Final Boss.” He wrote:

The Final Boss is a builder.
A long gamer.

WRESTLEMANIA Night 2 may be in the record books.

But this is only Chapter 1 of Final Boss Cinema.

To be continued…

In the second post, the former multi-time WWE Champion congratulated Cody Rhodes for his victory against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. He wrote:

Congratulations @americannightmarecody the new @wwe Universal Champion.
