The Rock Claims Recent Report On WWE Is ‘Complete Horses**t’ WWE

TKO board member The Rock has reacted to a report about him in WWE, claiming that it’s “complete horses**t”.

Since returning to WWE earlier this year, The Rock’s promos have featured swearing and sexual references, which is rare to hear from any other WWE star.

Dave Meltzer previously reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that there was a feeling that the era of ‘Vince McMahon’s double standards’ for certain stars was over, before The Rock came back and things were the same.

Dave Meltzer originally wrote:

As one person noted, he does what he wants and because he’s on the Board of Directors, nobody is going to say anything to him.

He also has an entire team of representatives that he surrounds himself with, so any issues, they handle while he stays out of the mess with the people he directly deals with.

But one person noted that there was a feeling that the era of Vince McMahon’s double standards for his handpicked stars and for everyone else was over, and then Johnson shows up and it’s exactly the same.

The Rock has now replied to Wrestlelamia’s summary of this report, claiming that the entire story is false.

He wrote:

This story is complete horses**t

It had been widely reported prior to Meltzer’s latest update that all WWE talents were issued rules stating they weren’t allowed to use certain language due to being a PG company, but then the reported negative reaction came when The Rock started using that kind of language.

The Rock will return to the ring at WrestleMania 40, where he will team with Roman Reigns to face off against Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.
