There was a title change in the second match of the night at WWE SummerSlam 2025 night one tonight, August 2.
The event kicked off with an introduction from Cardi B, followed by Roman Reigns & Jey Uso teaming up against Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed.
Reigns and Uso scored the win in that one as Uso pinned Reed, but it was the following match that played host to a title change.
Judgment Day members Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez put the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on the line against Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair.
Despite their short time as a tag team and somewhat rocky relationship, it was Bliss and Flair who emerged victorious as the new Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Rodriguez and Perez had been champions together since June 30 after Perez took over from the injured Liv Morgan.
This win marks Alexa Bliss’ fourth reign as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, having previously reigned twice with Nikki Cross and once with Asuka.
As for Charlotte Flair, this is her second time as Women’s Tag Team Champion, as she’s also held it with Asuka previously.
