TNA/AMC
TNA Wrestling star Mike Santana has addressed Impact’s move to the AMC Network next month, as well as revealing his initial reaction when the news broke.
As first announced on December 2, TNA Wrestling will be beginning a new era on a brand new television station in 2026, as Impact debuts on AMC on Thursday, January 15.
With plenty of excitement ahead of the deal from TNA management, talent and fans alike, Mike Santana has recalled what his initial reaction was when he first heard confirmation of the deal.
Speaking with Sports Jedi Network, Santana said:
“It was more of a ‘Finally, the work paid off’, and it’s going to pay off and finally more people are going to see the hard work and dedication that goes into TNA and that TNA brings to the table.
“I’ve always said TNA for a long time has been like a hidden gem. A lot of people didn’t have access to it because it’s not available on a major channel or this or that. There’s always been something. But now there’s no excuse.
“Now there’s nothing stopping us other than ourselves. And I think we’re going into an amazing time and an amazing era, and the fact that more people are going to be able to see everything is insane.”

Santana had arguably the most successful year of his wrestling career in 2025, headlining TNA’s two biggest pay-per-views of the year: Slammiversary and Bound for Glory, the latter of which saw him defeat WWE’s Trick Williams to win his first TNA World Championship.
