Tony Khan Appears On AEW Dynamite

On tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan appeared on-screen in an interesting peek behind the scenes of the show.

In a backstage segment featuring AEW EVPs Nicholas and Matthew Jackson, they informed Kazuchika Okada that they would be on headsets for his match.

When Okada’s match against Eddie Kingston for the AEW Continental Championship rolled around, the Young Bucks were shown on screen.

Seated backstage and wearing headsets for the match, sat next to them was Tony Khan.

Khan was shown during the match and then afterwards at the EVPs were shown celebrating their newest Elite member’s first title win.

It was a rare on-screen appearance for Khan, who is typically shown making announcements in lieu of being involved in storylines.

The last time an ‘in character Tony Khan’ appeared on-screen in AEW was a behind the scenes vignette featuring Adam Cole and MJF in which Khan put a halt to their shenanigans.

Kazuchika Okada defeated Eddie Kingston to become the new AEW Continental Champion.
