Is Tony Khan courting professional wrestling legend Goldberg for a potential appearance at AEW’s UK debut, AEW All In?
When Adrian Hernandez from The Bet Las Vegas asked Tony Khan about a recent interview in which Adrian asked Tony about Goldberg, Hernandez asked if Khan had spoken to him since.
Tony Khan went on to give a very appropriate but highly fascinating answer by saying that he wasn’t going to lie, he had spoken to Bill [Goldberg] since last being interviewed by Hernandez (about six or seven weeks ago) but as to the details of what they discussed?
Khan said that he would keep that between himself and Bill.
However Tony also noted that he has had conversations in the past when he was out of contract and also discussed their mutual personal interests including local Jacksonville philanthropy and Florida football.
Oh and professional wrestling of course!
We will have to continue to wait and see what Tony Khan has in store for AEW’s London debut for AEW All In but one thing is already for certain.
According to Tony Khan (and Dave Meltzer in the room for the media scrum) as Khan can certify that AEW has already well surpassed a $8.1 million dollar gate for AEW All In, according to Meltzer it has now officially become the biggest drawing professional wrestling event in the history of the United Kingdom.
