Tonight’s (October 10) episode of WWE NXT is set to run head to head against a special AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday episode of Dynamite.
With the shows set to go head to head, both companies have stacked their respective shows in the hopes of coming out on top in the head to head ratings.
Dynamite is set to feature the AEW in-ring debut of Adam Copeland (Edge), when he takes on Luchasaurus, as well as an International Championship match between Rey Fenix and Jon Moxley, and Saraya defending the AEW Women’s World Championship against Toni Storm.
Meanwhile, NXT is set to feature appearances from Cody Rhodes, John Cena, Paul Heyman and the Undertaker, as well as Asuka taking on Roxanne Perez.
Today, a report emerged from Haus of Wrestling, noting that WWE was hoping to ‘send a message’ to AEW with tonight’s NXT show.
That message has already reached Tony Khan, who took to Twitter to deliver his own message to Triple H and Shawn Michaels ahead of the show.
He shared a picture of a door featuring the words ‘bald asshole’, as well as an advertisement for tonight’s Dynamite show.
I have a message for them:
See you TONIGHT at a special Tuesday Night #AEWDynamite:
