In a new chat with Sports Illustrated, AEW CEO Tony Khan took a question regarding the status of Kenny Omega and Nick and Matt Jackson, the Young Bucks.
Ahead of tonight’s (November 4) big live edition of AEW Rampage, Tony Khan has been asked about the status of Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks.
While the past two weeks on AEW Dynamite have seen teases about the Elite, first in a mysterious vignette and next in another the subsequent week more explicitly referencing “delete the elite,” now Tony Khan weighs in.
Well, sort of.
When asked by SI’s Justin Barrasso about the vignettes appearance on television and social media, specifically, “are those three close to returning?”
To which Khan replied, “I cannot comment on that.”
Something Tony Khan was able to speak freely about however, was how much he was looking forward to expanding AEW’s live events schedule in 2023.
To close the discussion, when asked what Khan was most excited about for tonight’s live edition of AEW Rampage, he said:
“I’m excited to have “Iron” Mike Tyson on commentary. It is a great night to join us live, and it’s a great night to watch us on TNT.”
Mike Tyson has been announced as joining the AEW commentary team for tonight’s live episode of Rampage.
