Several of the people that WWE reportedly released today have now taken to social media to comment on being let go by the company.
The first to confirm his release was Fandango, with the former Breezango star thanking Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H after 14 years of service to the company.
Thank you @VinceMcMahon, @TripleH, @StephMcMahon. Thank you for the last 14 years. I truly appreciate it!
Tony Nese also took to social media to comment on his departure from the company, with the former Cruiserweight Champion posting two tweets, the latter of which said that he busted his ass every time he wrestled for WWE:
Welp
Thank you everyone! I don’t care about how unwatched and underappreciated 205 was. I busted my ass every single time I stepped foot in the ring doing whatever was asked of me with no questions asked. I can’t wait to be that type of employee for someone else.
Ariya Daivari also commented on his release from the company, saying that it’s time to put sports entertainment behind him and become a professional wrestler again:
Thank you all for the kind words and support. It’s time to put sports entertainment behind me and get back professional wrestling.
August Grey also took to Twitter, this time to address that his scheduled match on 205 Live tonight is now a ‘Loser Leaves Town Match’.
