Last night’s (June 23) episode of WWE SmackDown was reportedly a victim of many late changes to the show at the behest of Vince McMahon.
One of the matches left on the cutting room floor was announced last week, when it was announced that Bayley would face off against Shotzi.
The match came about after IYO SKY accepted the match against Shotzi on Bayley’s behalf, putting her spot in Money In The Bank on the line in the planned match.
The match never took place, with a match between Charlotte Flair and Lacey Evans being added in it’s place.
Taking to Twitter today, Bayley reacted to her advertised match being scrapped, citing that it’s always ‘Card Subject To Change’.
She wrote:
Card subject to change.. Sorry.
Sorry you couldn’t watch me beat dat ass
The six participants in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match are set for a ‘summit’ on next week’s episode of Raw.
There has been an update on who is considered the ‘frontrunner’ to win the case, which you can read here.
